IN THE HOT SEAT premieres at the Fall 2025 Queens Short Play Festival

My new short play, In the Hot Seat, is currently running in Program D of the Fall 2025 Queens Short Play Festival hosted by the Secret Theatre. You can read the full press release on Broadway World here.

This 15-minute comedy is set during a girls' trip to an Arizona spa, where two childhood best friends - cooking influencer Sloane and paralegal Tessa - detox their bodies and their friendship in the sauna. As the temperature rises, the sweat, secrets, and resentments start pouring out, proving that maybe Sartre was right: hell is other people...specifically, your so-called “best friend.”

I have re-teamed with Andrea Romano on this production who is serving as director. Dixie Carroll and Caitlyn Alico Beckwith co-star.

Performance dates are:

  • October 16th at 8:30 pm

  • October 24th and 29th at 6:00 pm

  • November 2nd at 1:00 pm*

*I will be stepping into Dixie Carroll’s role at this performance

You can purchase tickets for the show here.

I’m thrilled to share The Wayward Women not only advanced to the finals of the Winter 2025 Queens Short Play Festival, my dear friend Andrea Romano was awarded Best Director for her work on the play.

After such an enthusiastic reception by audiences throughout the festival, this was a wonderful way to close out this experience and production.

Now offering script consultation services

With the pandemic continuing to drag on in the U.S., I’ve seen an uptick in people writing new projects as well as requesting feedback as they work to develop those projects in quarantine. I’ve always enjoyed reading other people’s scripts and helping them shape them, and now I’m officially offering my services as a script consultant!

If you have a pilot, play, or screenplay that needs an extra pair of eyes and another brain, I’d be happy to read it and provide feedback (written and via discussion). I know firsthand how beneficial it is to have someone to bounce ideas off of and give some direction when you feel lost in the process, so I work from both a writer AND actor perspective.

I know many artists are being impacted financially by the pandemic, so I am willing to negotiate rates/fees on a sliding scale.

For more info, please visit the Script Consultation page on my website.

Looking forward to working with you!
